- I'm a freelance journalist currently based in Kabul, Afghanistan. Before arriving here, I spent two years in New York advising investment banks and hedge funds on geopolitics and international markets with Medley Global Advisors. I have worked for the Financial Times in Washington, DC, and Dow Jones Newswires in Brussels. I have also written for The Economist, Forbes, The American Interest and Foreign Policy Magazine, and consulted for Eurasia Group on issues of political risk. I hold a masters in international relations and economics from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in Washington, DC.
